Looking For Lorraine
Six lovely ladies bask in the warm afternoon’s sun. They have the beach all to themselves and pass the time reading Ebony Magazine and a first edition of Lorraine Hansberry’s Raisin In The Sun. They are unencumbered by oppressive racial tropes and gender norms because they know that they are beautiful! They have zero worries for the day and are flourishing in each other’s company in the way that they please.
